Located within the oldest department store in Seoul, dating from the 1930s, the project brief was to develop a private, discrete VIP area above the busy main retail space where a limited number of VIP clients could rest, meet friends while enjoying a private hospitality service.

The material and furniture palette was a contemporary luxury interpretation of the 1930s heritage of the building referencing the modernity of the period.
